中華民國駐菲律賓代表處(TECO)宣佈自2019年8月1日起繼續試辦菲律賓國民赴臺免簽證措施，至2020年7月31日止。
　　
中華民國政府於2019年7月2日宣佈，臺灣予菲國國民免簽證優惠措施將繼續實施一年至2020年7月31日止，此一友善措施當可便利菲國人民赴臺從事商旅及各項活動，加深兩國在經貿、投資、教育、農漁業、各項交流.

台灣延長菲律賓免簽助推赴台觀光.

菲律賓下半年規模最大的旅展「瘋旅行旅遊展」（Travel Madness Expo, TME）2019年7月4日到7日將在大馬尼拉地區登場，今年會有台灣休閒農業發展協會、六福村遊樂園、台北戲棚、十鼓擊樂團等30多名業者和觀光協會代表來菲推廣台灣觀光行程。

（中央社記者陳妍君馬尼拉19日專電）駐菲代表徐佩勇投書菲律賓發行量最大報網站「菲律賓每日詢問報」（Pilippine Daily Inquirer），指目前有15萬菲勞在台工作，但台灣3年未能參與世界衛生大會，民眾健康權遭剝奪，籲菲國政府和國會支持台灣參與世界衛生大會。

菲律賓台灣日將於2019年5月11日上午9時至11時, 在旅菲南線台商會會館前廣場舉行.

台灣日的主題是 "Health for All, Taiwan can Help", 不但將彰顯台灣與菲律賓兩國之醫衛合作, 並將結合教育, 觀光, 表演活動, 以及台灣美食等元素, 讓參與人士享受台灣風味及友誼, 以及感受台灣文化特有的能量與活力, 歡迎前來享受台灣美食, 熱歌, 勁舞, 以及摸彩活動  !

The Taiwan Day in the Philippines will take place at the Plaza of Taiwanese Chamber of the South Philippines from 9am to 11am on May 11, 2019.

The theme of Taiwan Day event is "Health for all, Taiwan can help". It will not only feature the health cooperation between Taiwan and the Philippines, but showcase the aspects of higher education and tourism in Taiwan along with cultural performance and Taiwan delicacies. The event will provide an opportunity for Taiwanese and the Filipinos to enjoy flavors and friendship, as well as promote mutaul understanding and enables everybone to share the unique hospitality and vitality of Taiwanese culture. Welome to enjoy the nice food, music, dance and performances presented by Taiwanese communities. In addition, lottery raffle will be provided.

駐菲代表處(TECO)自本2019年元月以來, 已陸續接獲十數起國人在菲律賓旅遊期間(尤其是在大馬尼拉及宿霧地區)，護照不慎遺失或財物遭竊事件，主要係於在大型購物商場、速食店遭竊盜集團扒竊, 或在機場(碼頭)搭乘交通工具時不慎遺失。
